Rich, enveloping and surprising wine!
Created in 2001 as a blend of three great vines: Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Merlot; it finds its identity in the power of its balance, the balance of aromas, colours and textures of the grapes. Corithus is the name of ancient Tarquinia, the Etruscan capital, mentioned by the poet Virgil in his writings. If you want to perceive the soul of our city, the Church of S. Giacomo (painted in watercolor on the label) is the ideal place…it is where you can find an enveloping silence and a breath-taking panorama. This is the feeling that we wanted to connect to our wine!
- Organoleptic properties: Intense bouquet with slightly smoky scent and floral notes of violet, red fruits with hints of laurel and pepper. The wine is well structured with smooth and soft tannins, a persistent finish with hints of vanilla and sweet tobacco scents.
- Serving suggestions: first courses such as gnocchi, pappardelle with hare, stew, crusted fillet, lamb, etc.
- Serving temperature: 16°- 18° C
